Forsythe - In Vinton, Friday, June 27, 1884, Mr. W. O. Forsythe, age 61 years, 6 months and 3 days.
The funeral took place from the Methodist church, Sunday, at 2 o'clock p.m. Mr. Forsythe was one of the early settlers in this section, having located here in 1854, coming from Indiana.
