Mrs. F. Fletcher Of Vinton Dies; Burial Tuesday

Mrs. F. C. Fletcher, 70, seriously ill the last three weeks, died early Sunday morning at the Vinton city hospital. Her death followed a stroke of paralysis. Mrs. Fletcher had been in ill health several years. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2.00 p. m. in the Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. E. A. Sabin. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. The deceased was an active member of the Vinton M. E. church as long as her health permitted.
Ella C. Fletcher, daughter of Moses B. and Corena Lamos, was born Nov. 30, 1865, in Crown Point, N. Y., and was married fifty years ago last March 9 to Fred C. Fletcher at Clarence, Iowa. Thirty years ago Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher retired to Vinton from a farm in Jackson township, Benton county. The husband and two children are living, Mrs. A. A. Wilson of Garrison and Cecil Fletcher of Vinton. Three brothers surviving are: W. W. Lamos of La Porte City, Stephen Lamos of Amboy, Minn., and Clayton Lamos of Cedar Rapids.
