Mrs. R. T. Duncalf is Called to Reward

Union Township Resident Passes Away Friday Morning At Mercy Hospital.
Mrs. R. T. Duncalf passed away at the Mercy hospital in Cedar Rapids Friday morning at 8:40. The body was brought to Van Horne that evening and the funeral was held at the Immaculate Conception church at 9 o'clock. Interment was made at Holy Cross church.
Mrs. Duncalf resided on a farm northwest of town and was known and loved by every one in this community. The obituary will be given next week.

Bridget A. Duncalf
Bridget A. Cantwell was born September 25, 1868, in Benton county where she resided ever since. She was united in marriage to Robert Duncalf February 23, 1892. To this union were born four children, Maude, Frank, George and Clarence, who, with the husband, survive her.
She also survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Cantwell, two sisters, Mrs. James Nolan and Mary Cantwell, and six brothers, Thomas, Paul, Patrick and William of this vicinity and Michael and John Connel of north McGregor.
Mrs. Duncalf was a life long member of the Catholic church and died within its fold. She was a kind and loving mother and wife. She was loved and respected by all who knew her and leaves a host of friends who mourn her untimely death.
