Alice Donley
Vinton — Mrs. W[illiam]. H. Donley, 88, Friday at her home in Vinton of complications of age; born Sept. 16, 1858, in Decatur county, Indiana, to Mr. and Mrs. George W. Redington; Nov. 24, 1881, she was married to W. H. Donley in Harrison township in Benton county; up to the time of her death Mrs, Donley lived in Vinton with her son, Harley; husband preceded her in death in 1909; leaves six children, Orie O. Donley, Waterloo; Clarence W. Donley, Omaha, Neb.; Mrs. Ethel Baum, Garrison; Bert N., Ray and Harley, all of Vinton one son, George, died in infancy; one sister, Mrs. Frank Vialou, Vinton, and a brother, J. W. Redington, also survive, and seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren; was a member of the Vinton Church of Christ; funeral at the Fry-Holland funeral home Sunday; burial in Evergreen cemetery.

W.H. Donley
Killed By Horse's Kick. W[illiam]. H. Donley of this city died Friday afternoon as the result of having been kicked by a horse on last Wednesday morning. On the morning of the accident Mr. Donley was doing chores around his stable and as he happened to be passing a young colt which he had just bought in the young animal kicked at him, striking a board which he held in his arms, with sufficient force to cause a fatal injury. Mr. Donley had conducted a private oil business her for many years until recently when he has been employed by the Standard Oil company at their local station.
