Robert W. Chism
Robert W. Chism died at his home in Big Grove township, Benton County, November 18, 1885,aged 15 years. He was a boy with good moral habits, and in his last moments gave utterance to words in regard to the future, which must be consoling to the bereft. As we stood by the grave of this young man with the throbbing, saddened hearts of father, mother and sister, we thought of the words of the scripture "We shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed." Death has visited this home twice in ten days. J.B.M.
