Sallach, Marie H. (Mar. Carson)
Marie Henrietta Carson, widow of George H. Carson, 1525 Tenth street NW, a Cedar Rapids resident most of her life, died at Davenport Saturday following a long illness. She was born April 10, 1882 at Atkins.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. J. L. Rooks, Cedar Rapids; three sons, Charles, Cedar Rapids, William and George, both of Moline; ten grandchildren adn 16 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. C. M. Winters, and a brother, Arthur Sallach, both of Cedar Rapids.
Mrs. Carson was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Services: Trinity Lutheran church at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday by the Rev. E. W. Koberg. Burial: Linwood cemetery. Friends may call at Turner cahpel west after 1 p.m. Sunday and until 9 p.m. Monday and at the church from 9 a.m. to 10:25 a.m. Tuesday. The casket will not be opened after the service.
