Died, August 26, 1883, Maude, daughter of J.N. and A. Boyles of inflammation of the brain. The bereaved family have the heartfelt sympathy of the community.

Cedar Rapids Violet M Boyles, 89, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999, at Manor Care following a brief illness.
She was born Sept. 26, 1909 in Palo, the daughter of Alfie and Lillie Comp Hepker. She married Sidney Boyles Feb. 8, 1930. He died in 1983. she was a member of Olivet Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Dolores Armbrect, and husband, Allen, Cedar Rapids; a son, Roger Allen Boyles, and wife, Marcia, Center Point, four grandchildren, Center Point; four grandchildren, DeWayne Armbrect, Iowa City, Diane Fleege, and husband, Dennis, and Corey Boyles and wife, Kris, all of Cedar Rapids, and Casey Boyles, and wife, Amy, Iowa City Boyles, and wife, Amy, Iowa City; ad four great-grandchildren, Deanna, Dennis DJ. and Dixie Fleege and Elizabeth Boyles, all of Cedar Rapids. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four sisters, Carrie Pickerill, Nettie Skrimpsky, Mary Bills, and Mildred Anderson; and two brothers, Leo Hepker and Floyd Hepker.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 16, 1999, at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Burial will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Friday, Jan. 15 and Saturday, Jan. 16, after 2 p.m. at the chapel.
