ELIZABETH BOLLINGER DIED AT JOHNSON HOME
Miss Elizabeth Bollinger
Miss Elizabeth Bollinger died at the home of Miss Mattie Johnson, three and one-half miles northwest of Vinton, May 1, at 1:00 o'clock p. m. Miss Bollinger was born at Otter Creek, Iowa, August 4, 1853, being 62 years, 7 months and 27 days old. The cause of her death was paralysis, and she was in a helpless condition the past eight weeks. She had made her home with Miss Johnson during the past eleven years and for ten years of that time had been in very poor health.
L. H. Liebsch and J. P. Liebsch, who live northeast of Vinton were nephews of the deceased, and she left other relatives in Waterloo, Des Moines and Montana.
The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Methodist church in Urbana, the service being conducted by Rev. Norton and the burial was in the Kisling cemetery.
