Nicholas Bockholdt

Nicholas Bockholdt died at his home east of town Friday morning. Funeral services were held Sunday by the German minister from Keystone, and the remains were laid to rest in the Keystone cemetery. Mr. Bockholdt was about 70 years of age and among the early settlers. He was industrious, frugal, having acquired a section and a half of as fine land as there is in Iowa.
