A Great Many of Benton County's Oldest Citizens Were Called This Fall
Marion Bennett
Marion Bennett, who made his home with his sister, Mrs. J. M. Dennison, in the northwest part of Vinton, died very suddenly Monday evening. He was talking to Mr. Dennison about some furs when all at once he gasped for breath, but the end had come. Mr. Bennett was born August 27, 1844, being 64 years, 3 months and 11 days. The funeral was held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of his sister. Interment was in Evergreen cemetery. Rev. Leake of the Christian church had the services in charge.
