Christopher Beeh
Mr. Christopher Beeh, Father-in-law of C. Wentz, died at the residence of the latter in this city on Sunday evening, at 7:30 o'clock, April 19, 1885, in his 80th year.
Mr. Beeh was born in Baden, Germany, in September, 1805. He emigrated to America in 1857. He has always enjoyed remarkably good health, and his taking off was chiefly the effect of old age, attended by but little suffering. Four years ago last September he was stricken with paralysis of the right side and about a month ago he suffered a light attack of the same malady, since which time he kept his bed. He survived his wife nearly a year. He leaves three children, vis: Henry Beeh, aged fifty, Mrs. C. Wentz and Mrs. Phillip Smith.
The deceased was buried yesterday. Rev. Mr. Kletzing conducting the solemn ceremonies.
