Ronald Bartosh killed in car accident Friday
Ronald John Bartosh
Ronald John Bartosh, 26, was killed Friday night, Jan. 15, in a car accident. The son of Clifford and Helen Frimml Bartosh, he was born on Jan. 15, 1939, in Fairfax.
He graduated from Norway high school in 1958. He was employed at Wilson and Co. in Cedar Rapids and lived in Norway with his parents. Ron was a member of St. Joseph's Court Order of Foresters No. 1360 of Norway for a number of years.
Surviving besides his parents are: a sister, Mrs. Gary (Betty) Butz, Norway; a brother, Pvt. Gary Bartosh, Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.; a niece, Sharon Ann Butz, Norway; his grandfather, Wesley Bartosh, Sr., Walford; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were held at Holy Trinity church in Walford on Monday, Jan. 18, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Donald Heineman officiating.
Pallbearers were: John Frimml, Donald Stallman, Gerald Schmucker, Robert Bartosh, Wesley Bartosh and Melvin Bartosh.

Walford--Funeral services for Wes Bartosh, 87, were held Oct. 19, at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church by the Rev. Donald Heineman. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. The Monahan-Stewart funeral home was in charge.
Mr. Bartosh died Sunday in Cedar Rapids hospital after a short illness. He was born in Johnson County, Sept. 27, 1879. He lived and farmed in Johnson and Iowa Counties until his retirement, when he lived mainly in Walford.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Loyal Lohrer, Marengo; three sons, Bert, Walford, Clifford, Norway, and Harley, Cedar Rapids.
