Death of Carl Adams
Carl Adams
Reinbeck Courier: "At fifteen minutes of four o’clock yesterday (Thursday) afternoon the spirit of Carl, the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles J. Adams, aged 4 years and 7 months, took its wings of flight. May his sinless soul rest in peace until the day of great awakening when we may all be gathered together again. The funeral services will be held in the M. E. church in this city on Saturday at 3:30 p. m.".
The remains were brought to Vinton Saturday evening and on Sunday were deposited in the family lot in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr and Mrs. Adams, who were formerly Vinton people, will have the sympathy of their hosts of friends here in this hour of sorrow.
