Kuhn’s Standard Stationoperated by Bill Kuhn since August 15, 1974. Previously owned and operated by Ralph Kuhn from 1965 - 1972.

Cook’s Grocery Store Chandler has operated the store since his father’s death.

Guernsey Shoe Store Operated by LaMar Guernsey for 51 years. He came to Urbana from Marshalltown in 1925. He bought A. J. Lake’s shoe repair in the old hotel. Hoon’s Jewelry Store was vacant, so Mr. Guernsey moved his business there in late 1925 and has been there since.

Helen’s Café Helen Boyles has operated the restaurant since December 8, 1975.

John’s Quik Stop John Anderson of Vinton, since 1974

Vogt Tavern Operated by Mike and Joyce and Ken and Sue Vogt

Jane’s Beauty Shop Stated business December 15, 1960, in the back of Jones Barber Shop. Nine years later she moved to the front and 6 years later she moved to the Joe A. Smith building.

Kisling Motors Operated by Marvin (Gus) Kisling. Purchased recently from Wilbur Bach who operated it for 30 years.

Hoff’s Electrical Appliance Started business in 1968 and moved up town in 1974.

Janice’s Beauty Shop Operates in her home since 1965.

Bill Andrews Feed Nutritionist for Standard Chemical of Omaha. Started business in Urbana in 1959.

Beryl "Mike" Leibsch Carpenter and painter since 1934
