DR. GEORGE C. BREWER, Dental Surgeon, established practice at Belle Plaine in 1876. He was born in Washington County, Md., Aug. 13, 1847, and is the son of Henry and Elizabeth (Richard) Brewer. His father was a native of Pennsylvania and his mother of Maryland. George C. was reared to manhood in his native State, after which he came to Polo, Ill., where he studied dentistry, and began practice in that city in 1875. In 1876 he removed to this place, and has been in practice here since that time. Dr. Brewer was married at Belle Plaine in 1878, to Miss Martha M., a daughter of John Yount.
