December 2017

December 11, 2017:  Added transcription of 27 additional "C" and "D" Surname Biographies from the 1915 History of Audubon County.

December 8, 2017:  Added 1909-June 1921 Birth Certificate Index for Audubon County courtesy of the State Historical Society of Iowa.

November 2017

November 11, 2017:  Added transcription of Chapter XVI Audubon County Schools from the 1915 History of Audubon County.

October 2017

October 24, 2017:  Added July 1904-June 1906 Birth Certificate Index for Audubon County courtesy of the State Historical Society of Iowa. From July 1904 to June 1906 state law required that birth certificates be filed with the State Department of Health and not with the counties. These handwritten records have been transcribed by the State Historical Society of Iowa, which has granted IAGenWeb permission to post them.

October 23, 2017:  Added the Audubon County section from The Courts and Legal Profession (1907), which includes biographies of 3 early Audubon County lawyers.

October 1, 2017:  Added 4 additional Brayton School transcriptions from the History of Brayton 1878-1978: Brayton School History, 1944 Christmas Program, Teachers 1931-1959 and Oakfield [Exira No. 5] 1950-51.

September 2017

September 27, 2017:  Added complete index to the History of Brayton 1878-1978. Also added Mayors of Brayton, transcribed from the Brayton history book.

September 14, 2017:  Added transcription of all graduates from the "Pictorial Review of Gray High School Graduates" section of the Gray Community History 1881-1981.

September 2, 2017:  Added biography of Jorgen F. Schroeder from the 1915 History of Audubon County.

July 2017

July 12, 2017:  Added Audubon County Korean War Deaths and Vietnam War Deaths.

July 11, 2017:  Added transcriptions of over 40 WWI letters home from Private Herb Hocamp and his wife Emma. Herb was stationed at Fort Flagler and Fort Worden in Washington. Various men from Audubon. Guthrie, Cass and Madison counties were stationed with Herb and are mentioned.

April 2017

April 2, 2017:  Added transcriptions of 17 additional "W" surname biographies from the 1915 History of Audubon County. All "W" surname biographies have been transcribed.

March 2017

March 29, 2017:  Added transcriptions of 12 additional "F" surname biographies from the 1915 History of Audubon County. All "F" surname biographies have been transcribed.

March 24, 2017:  Added transcriptions of 10 additional biographies from the 1915 History of Audubon County. The "G" surname biographies are now completely transcribed.

March 22, 2017:  Added transcriptions of 13 additional biographies from the 1915 History of Audubon County. The "K" and "L" surname biographies are now completely transcribed.

March 20, 2017:  Added transcriptions of 15 additional biographies from the 1915 History of Audubon County. The "O" and "P" surname biographies are now completely transcribed.

March 4, 2017:  Added transcriptions of 15 additional biographies from the 1915 History of Audubon County.

March 3, 2017:  Added transcriptions of 20 additional biographies from the 1915 History of Audubon County.

February 2017

February 27, 2017:  Added transcriptions of 17 additional "B" surname biographies from the 1915 History of Audubon County. All 1915 "B" surname briographies have now been transcribed.
