Bryant (Briant) Cemetery

Douglas Township, Section 3.  Cemetery is approximately 6 miles south of Moravia, east of Highway 5, approximately 2 1/2 miles east on 470th St.   The cemetery is on the south side of the road.   Click here for the Google map.

William and Emmaline Bryant deeded a small plot of land for the cemetery to the Methodist Episcopal church, but the cemetery was mostly used for Bryant family burials.  Most of the stones are no longer standing and are laying on, or embedded in, the ground.   The last burial in this cemetery was in 1904.
