O'HARE PLACE CEMETERY
Hanover Township, Allamakee county Iowa

The "O'Hare Place" Cemetery which earlier served the Iowa River Lutheran Church was located along the Upper Iowa River on an improved road about three miles southeasterly from the junction of Roads A26 and W60. It is still partially fenced off but overgrown with a thick stand of sumac. Reinterments from this cemetery were made to the Iowa River Cemetery and other rural cemeteries in neighboring Winneshiek County, Iowa.
