            Know all men by these presents that I, Willahmine Scherer of Lansing, Iowa, in consideration of the Sum of One Hundred ninety-five Dollars to me paid by August Bokemeyer of Lansing, the receipt whereof I hereby acknowledge have sold and Quit Claimed, and by these Presents do sell and quit-claim unto the same A. Bokemeyer all my rights, title, interest, estate claims and demand both at law and in Equity of in and to my house and said lot situated on the East part of Lot Four (4), Block Eighteen, in the town of Lansing, County of Allamakee & State of Iowa, with all and singular the ___________and appurtenances thereunto belonging.  In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 30th day of March A.D. 1861.  Wilhelmine ______________                                                                                                       [Bohmeyer/Bochmeyer ?]
