Freda K. Ball, 80, of Kahoka, died Sunday in Blessing Hospital, Quincy, Ill. (14 Feb 1988)

She was born July 14, 1907, near Antioch, Mo., the daughter of Adam and Adeline Kirchner Kutcher. She married Billie Ball on Jan. 18, 1928, in Kahoka. She lived near Antioch all her life and worked with her husband on the family farm. She was a member of the Kahoka United Methodist Church, United Metodist (Methodist) Women and Kings Daughters Sunday School Class.

Survivors include a son Edwin Ball of Kahoka; daughter Mrs. Harold (Celesta) Gares of Kahoka; brothers Albert Kutcher of Farmington and Carl Kutcher of Kahoka; sisters Mrs. Pauline Pearl of Canton and Mrs. Zelma Doran of Williamstown; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband on March 1, 1970, two brothers, a sister, and a grandson.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Kahoka United Methodist Church with Rev. Beryl Cragg officiating.

Burial will be in the Kahoka Cemetery.

Visitation is any time today at the Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka and the family will meet with friends from 7-9 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the Kahoka United Methodist Church.
