Former Local Nurse Promoted
Corrinne M. Wolverton, a nurse stationed at an army hospital in southwestern China at the end of a supply line which included the Chump and Stillwell Road, has been promoted to first lieutenant, according to the public relations section headquarters, China theater. Lt. Wolverton received her training at the Jennie Edmundsen hospital.
