Josephine Kater Robinson

 

 

Josephine Hendricks Kater Robinson was born Oct. 6, 1918 to Mark and Maude Ethel Hendricks Kater. She died Dec. 30, 2012 and is buried in Green Mountain Cemetery, Boulder, CO.

Josephine served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps as a WASP pilot in the Women’s Ferry Command. One of her proudest moments was receiving the Congressional Gold Medal for her service as a WASP during war time. She was married to Joseph Keller “Joe” Robinson who also served in World War II with the U.S. Army. Joe was born Feb. 4, 1910 to John Dunlap and Olive Victoria “Ollie" Sams Dunlap. He died Aug. 6, 1992 and is buried in Green Mountain Cemetery, Boulder, CO.
