Myrtle R. Robertson Inducted Into WAACs

Miss Myrtle R. Robertson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray H. Robertson of Wellman, was inducted into the WAACs in Des Moines last week following her examination and has been ordered to await call for training in the near future. Miss Robertson is an alumnus of the university and has many relatives in and near Iowa City.

More than Half of Iowa WACs Have Immediate Kin in Service

Des Moines - More than 50 per cent of Iowa women serving in the Women's Auxiliary corps come from families which has at least one other member on the service.

Corp. Myrtle R. Robertson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray H Robertson of Wellman, formerly a school teacher, is now a radio operator in the signal service company at Washington, D.C. Following basic training she was sent to Keystone Radio school and Hollidaysburg, Pa., for the army radio course.

Myrtle R. Robertson, daughter of Mr. and Mr. Roy H. Robertson, has been promoted from corporal to sergeant in the women's army corps. She is stationed at Fort Myer, Va., and is engaged in radio work for the war department.
