Two Des Moines women have begin their WAC training at Fort Des Moines. They are Ellen Jo Moyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry R. Moyer, 231 S.E. Rose ave., and Jeanne Bonnie Signs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne S. Signs, 2410 Carpenter ave.

WAC Cpl. Ellen Jo Moyer Thomas, wife of Wilbur Thomas, West Des Moines, and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Moyer, 231 S. E. Rose st., is visiting in Des Moines during a short furlough. Corporal Thomas is stationed at Fort Lewis, Wash.
