Pfc. Margaret Meyer

 

 

 

Westgate -- Pfc. Margaret Meyer, USMC women's reserve, is here from Camp LeJeune, N.C. to spend a 15-day furlough in the home of her father, G.E. Plaster, and sisters, Mrs. C.F. Meyer, and Mrs. Fred Yungtum. Private Meyer will return to Camp Lejeune where she will be assigned work in the quartermaster department.

Westgate -- Pfc. Margaret Meyer, daughter of G.E. Plaster, Westgate, who enlisted as Pvt. in the U.S. Marine corps women's reserve at San Francisco, Cal. and was called to active duty on Jan. 5, is permanently stationed at Camp Lejeune, N.C. She has completed a three months specialist's course in quartermaster. Her husband, Ensign L.L. Meyer, USN, is on duty in the southwest Pacific.
