WOMEN IN SERVICE
Betty Ivie, seaman first class (SK) of the WAVES, will leave tonight following a six-day leave passed at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.S. Ivie, 127 Melrose avenue. Seaman Ivie is a graduate of Iowa City high school and the University of Iowa where she was affiliated with Delta Delta Delta social sorority. She is stationed at present at Clinton, Okla.

OUR TOWN
Miss Betty Ivie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.S. Ivie, 127 Melrose avenue, has received her discharge from the WAVES and has returned to her home. Miss Ivie was stationed at the Clinton naval air station at Clinton, Okla., and at Corpus Christi, Texas, before being released from duty.
