Shirley Jean Dodge, S.K. 2/c

 

 

TO SERVE WITH WAVES -- Miss Shirley Dodge, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Dodge, 526 Mulberry avenue, has been ordered to report for active duty in the WAVES woman's reserve of the U.S. naval reserve on May 17 at Hunter College, New York City. She enlisted on April 21 at Des Moines.

Miss Dodge, a graduate of Muscatine high school in 1939, has been employed in the order department of the Huttig Manufacturing company for the past three and one-half years.

ADVANCED IN RANK -- Shirley Jean Dodge, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warren N. Dodge, 526 Mulberry avenue, has been promoted from the rank of store keeper third class to that of store keeper second class, her parents have been informed. She has been in the WAVEs for the past 10 months and has the following address:

Shirley Jean Dodge Lauck was born Aug. 6, 1922 to Warren N. and Gladys M. Hoefflin Dodge. She died Feb. 16, 1998 in CA. She was married to Louis A. Lauck, Jr.
