Private Ruth E. Campos, Des Moines, and now is stationed completed her basic training at Rome, New York. She is the daughter of J. J. Osborne 1601 W. 29th street, and a former resident of Sioux City.

IN UNIFORM

From filing clerk to chauffeur for a general is the army record of Pvt. Ruth Campos, daughter of J. J. Osborne, 1601 W. 29th street.  Pvt. Campos entered the WACS in January 1944, and was assigned as filing clerk at Patterson field, O., after taking basic training at Fort Des Moines.  After a succession of assignments, she was transferred to Olmsted field, Pa., and given the post of driving fro the inspecting general.  A former Sioux City resident, Pvt. Campos attended Central high school.  Her husband recently received an honorable discharge from the army.
