Betty M. Bullington, S1/c

 

 

Miss Betty M. Bullington, seaman, first class, WAVES, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.V. Bullington, 3216 Fourth st., and Aviation student John I. Geary, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph S. Geary of Iowa Falls, Ia., were married in a secret service at 5:30 p.mp Aug. 23 in the Wee Kirk O' the Heather, Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale Cal. The Rev. H.C. Braackman officiated.

The bride wore her official white uniform and carried a bouquet of gardenias and roses. She is a graduate of North High school and a member of the Order of Rainbow For Girls. She enlisted in the WAVES in May, 1943.

Mr. Geary is a graduate of Iowa Falls high school and Ellsworth junior college in Iowa Falls. He completed his college course at Iowa State college in Ames, where he was a member of the Alpha Chi Sigma, chemical society. He is now enrolled in air crew training in the army air forces.
