Ensign Leota Alexander

 

 

 

Leota Alexander, 1920 Center st., left Wednesday for Great Lakes, Ill., naval training center, where she will serve as an ensign in the navy nurses corps. Ensign Alexander was at Iowa Methodist hospital for two years, and a year at the Des Moines ordnance plant, before joining the service. She received her training at Graham hospital, Keokuk, Ia., and is the daughter of Mrs. Anna Alexander of Corydon, Ia.

Ensign Leota Alexander, navy nurse, has concluded visit with her sister, Mrs. Virgil Mellgren, 839 Thirty-fifth st. She is big transferred from Great Lakes, Ill., to Bethesda, Md., naval hospital.
