Arrives in England
Word has been received that Miss Priscilla White, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul A. White of 2023 Carey avenue, Davenport, has arrived safely in England, where she will serve as staff assistant with a club unit of the American Red Cross.
Miss White took preliminary training with the Red Cross in Washington, D.C. before assignment overseas. She is a graduate of the Davenport high school, of Stephens Junior college at Columbus, Mo., where she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa, honorary scholastic junior college fraternity, and of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she also did post-graduate work.
Prior to her work with the Red Cross, Miss White was employed by the John Owen Advertising Co. in New York City.
