Strawberry Point, Ia. -- Miss Margaret M. Henry has resigned as speech and English teacher here and on Aug. 16 will report at St. Louis, Mo., for training to become a general field representative of the American Red Cross.
She will take 2 weeks indoctrination course followed by a week in conference wit the regional director of the district to which she will be assigned. Her duties will be to contact chapter officials and Red Cross boards, to aid them in developing Red Cross activities.
Miss Henry, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Henry of Strawberry Point, is a graduate of Clarke college, Dubuque, and has taught the past several years.

Red Cross Leaders Plan $10,400 Drive
Miss Margaret Henry, general field representative, American National Red Cross, who is well known among Red Cross workers in this county, has been spending considerable time with Russell Brant, South Fayette county chapter chairman and Mrs. A.J. Bennett war fund chairman, in the past weeks regarding the Red Cross War Fund drive here.
Miss Henry has a personal interest in this area because her home was originally in Strawberry Point. She has charge of thirteen counties in Iowa.
Special Rotary Meeting
Miss Henry has arranged with the St. Louis office to make available a special speaker for Rotary Monday, March 5, at the request of program chair Theo. Olson. Herbert Dear, overseas Red Cross field director, will be the guest speaker that day, and the meeting will be attended by many local War Fund leaders.
