Walter Gerhard Wellman was born Apr. 25, 1919 to George and Veronica Moeller Wellman. He died Oct. 5, 1942 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, West Point, IA.
Pvt. Wellman served in World War II with the U.S. Army 242nd Coast Artillery, Anti-Aircraft and died while in the service of his country.
