Sgt. Jack William Tessmann

 

 

Jack William Tessmann was born Dec. 7, 1921 to William F. and Grace E. Skelton Tessmann. He died Oct. 2, 1944 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Lorraine American Cemetery, St. Avold, France.

Sgt. Tessmann served in World War II with the U.S. Army Troop E, 113th Cavalry, Mechanized and was KIA in Germany. He was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
