Capt. Harry Ray Tague

 

 

 

Harry Ray “Ray” Tague was born Oct. 28, 1924 to Harry and Hazel Hiter Tague. He died July 2, 2013 and is buried in Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, S.C.

Coxswain Tague served with the U.S. Navy in World War II and attended the Yalta Conference as an orderly to President Roosevelt. He was also a retired Captain in the United States Army, serving in both World War II and Korea.
