Jerome Peter Stoos was born Jan. 26, 1921 to John and Johanna Knewel Stoos. He died Nov. 20, 2004 and is buried in Saint Marys Cemetery, Remsen, IA.
Pvt. Stoos served with the U.S. Army in World War II and was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
