Rock Valley, Iowa -- Robert Schutt has been commissioned a captain by the war department. Robert is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Schutt. He is stationed in the Pacific area.

Robert Louis Stuart Schutt was born Nov. 27, 1917 to Jerry Peter and Lucy Stupor Schutt. He died Dec. 26, 2015 and is buried in Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, CO.
Maj. Schutt served with the U.S. Army in World War II and Korea.
