T/5 Farrel S. Miller

The body of the late T/5 Farrel S. Miller [K.I.A. 1945] is being returned from the European theater to Leon for interment. The body arrived in New York City November 16 on the U. S. army transport, Carroll Victory. The body will be brought to the Stewart Funeral home via Kansas city.

Besides his wife, Mrs. Marjorie E. Miller of Hammond, Ind., he is survived by his father, Wilbur Miller, of Leon, and a brother, Forrest Miller, of Keota.

Farrel Stephens Miller was born Jan. 20, 1914 to Wilbur Le Roy and Gracie Mary Stephens Miller. He died May 1, 1945 and is buried in Leon Cemetery, Leon, IA.

Sgt. Miller served in World War II with the U.S. Army and was KIA in Germany.
