Leonard Dunn Leeds was born Nov. 5, 1921 to Benjamin Dunn and Irene Hannah Leonard Leeds. He died Jan. 23, 1945 and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Cherokee, IA.
Lt. Leeds served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 525th Bomb Squadron and was killed as the result of an aircraft crash in Kimbolten, England.
