Sgt. Robert S. Hoyt

 

 

Robert S. Hoyt was born Jan. 22, 1922 to Harold S. and Ione Travers Hoyt. He died Dec. 24, 1944 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France.

Sgt. Hoyt served in World War II with the U.S. Army 262nd Infantry Regiment, 66th Infantry Division and was MIA/KIA in the English Channel and was awarded the Purple Heart.
