Ernest William Chase, Jr. was born Mar. 3, 1922 to Ernest William (Sr.) and Opal Adams Chase. He died Jan. 7, 1945 and is buried in Mount Olive Cemetery, Hamburg, IA.
Pvt. Chase served in World War II with the U.S. Army 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, Co. B and was KIA on Their-du-Mont Ridge in Belgium during the Battle of The Bulge.
