Sgt. Stanley Paul Carson

 

 

 

Stanley Paul Carson was born July 24, 1924 to Charles Minor and Dolly Elizabeth Page Carson. He died Dec. 31, 1944 and is buried in Ardennes American Cemetery and Memorial, Neuville-in Condroz Liege, Belgium. He has a cenotaph at Ottawa Cemetery, Ottawa, IA.

Sgt. Carson served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 418th Bomber Squadron, 100th Bomber Group, Heavy and was KIA in a B-17 bomber near Hamburg, Germany. He was awarded the Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster and Purple Heart.
