Raymond F. Bartlett was born Aug. 30, 1921 to Dale R. and Alice Mary Irwin Bartlett. He died Oct. 23, 1942 and is buried in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Ottumwa, IA.

Pvt. Bartlett served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps 1st Marines, 1st Marine Division and was KIA in combat operations at Guadalcanal.
