NEWS of the BOYS in the SERVICE

Coxswain Francis Schultz, arrived home Sunday to spend a 30 day leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Schultz, of Washington township.  Francis is in the Sea Bees and has been overseas for 16 months.  He has been in the Aleutians, and has seen plenty of action.  He said that sometimes they don’t see the sun for 2 or 3 months, and in that time the boys all get pretty well bleached out.  His brother, Signalman 2/c Dale Schultz, telephoned Wednesday morning from Chicago saying that he would be home Wednesday night.  This will be the first time the two brothers have seen each other for 2 years.  Dale has been across for about a year.  Where he has been is not known.
