Pvt. Robert (Bob) Figg, who is stationed at Buckley Field, Denver, Colorado, arrived home Thursday, July 27, to spend an 18-day furlough. His wife and child accompanied him to LeMars.

Robert Figg Jr., left for Buckley Field near Denver, Colo., after spending a 15-day furlough in the home of his parents, Dr. and Mrs. Robert Figg. After reporting at Denver he will be transferred to San Antonio, Tex.

Cpl. and Mrs. R. M. Figg Jr. and daughter, Judy, were guests last weekend in the home of the former’s parents, Dr. and Mrs. R. M. Figg. They returned the first of the week to Salina, Kansas, where Cpl. Figg is stationed at the air base.

Robert Miles Figg, Jr. was born Oct. 2, 1920 to Robert Miles (Sr.) and Josephine Martha Novotny Figg. He died Feb. 6, 1957 and is buried in Memorial Cemetery, LeMars, IA.
