OUR NEIGHBORS in the SERVICES   

Cherokee, Ia.—Donald Beyn, pharmacist’s mate second class, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. Beyn, received his discharge from the service October 3, at Minneapolis, after 39 months of Naval duty.  He spent 20 months of that time in the South Pacific in the medical corps of the Fourth Marines, participating in the invasions of Guam, Ernau and Vella Lavella islands.  He plans to work in the Illinois Central railroad shops at Waterloo.
