NEWS of SERVICE MEN
George K. Beck, yeoman 1/c USNR, who has been serving in the Pacific area on the USS Oneida, was transferred on September 12 to the USS Anzio at Jinson, Korea. The Anzio is a baby carrier, which is returning to the United States with military personnel. Mr. Beck has been in service since November 6, 1942. It is believed he will be discharged after reaching this country. Mrs. Beck is making her home with her mother, Mrs. Anna McCormack, while he is overseas.
