Harold Bernard Johnson was born Dec. 4, 1925 to Arve John and Hilda Halin Johnson. He died July 30, 1945 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.
Petty Officer Johnson served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Indianapolis (CA-35) when it was sunk by a Japanese submarine. He was MIA/FOD/KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.
