Elmer Ellsworth Taylor was born Aug. 24, 1927 to Reid and Bertha Ione VanCleave Taylor. He died Jan. 26, 2014 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.

Cpl. Taylor served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps.

William Curtis Taylor was born Sept. 22, 1926 to William P. and Leota Laverne Carpenter Taylor. He died Sept. 29, 1945 and is buried in IOOF Cemetery, Indianola, IA.

Pvt. Taylor served in World War II with the U.S. Army 6th Division and died while in the service of his country.

George J. Tickle was born Nov. 26, 1908 to George Washington and Lucy Ellen Scoggin Tickle. He died June 23, 1948 and is buried in Sandyville Cemetery, Warren County, IA. Pvt. Tickle served with the U.S. Army 50th Engineers in World War II.

Sidney Oliver Tyler was born Apr. 27, 1924 to Guy E. and Beatrice Virginia Slack Tyler. He died May 25, 1945 and is buried in Hartford Cemetery, Hartford, IA.

Petty Officer Tyler served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Spectacle (AM-305) and was MIA/FOD/KIA while serving aboard that vessel near le Shima in the Pacific area. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
