Andrew “Andy” Schipper was born June 24, 1925 to Cornelius and Jennie DeGroot Schipper. He died Aug. 2, 2016 and is buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Ireton, IA. 

Andy served in World War II with the U.S. Navy in the Aleutian Islands of Alaska.

Cornelius “Mike” Schipper was born Aug. 14, 1923 to Cornelius and Jennie DeGroot Schipper. He died Oct. 11, 2002 and is buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Ireton, IA. 

Mike served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Delbert Schipper was born Apr. 6, 1915 to Cornelius and Jennie DeGroot Schipper. He died Aug. 26, 2001 and is buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Ireton, IA. 

Delbert served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

John Nicholas Schmitz was born in 1909 to John and Eliza Ann Schmitz. He July 11, 1945 and is buried in Lorraine American Cemetery, St. Avold, France.

Sgt. Schmitz served in World War II with the U.S. Army 4th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron and died in Germany in a vehicle accident. He was serving as a mechanic with the Army.

Harold Carl Schoellerman was born Sept. 6, 1924 to Hermann “Herman” and Sophie H. Schwartz Schoellerman. He died Aug. 13, 1944 and is buried in Brittany American Cemetery and Memorial, Saint James, France. He has a cenotaph in Bethany Cemetery, Fairview, SD. 

Pvt. Schoellerman served in World War II with the U.S. Army 121st Infantry Regiment, 8th Infantry Division. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

John F. Schutt was born Jan. 22, 1922 to Frank and Sena Prins Schutt. He died Dec. 22, 1944 and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA. Pvt. Schutt served with the U.S. Army Infantry in World War II.
